Some 200 friends and family of the 15 jailed Boeung Kak lake activists gathered outside the prison gates where the 14 women and one man are being held. Following a ceremony at the next door pagoda, during which relatives of the jailed activists shaved their heads, the group walked first to the gate of CC1, the male prison, and the to the gate of CC2, where the women are held. With lotus flowers in hand, the group released balloons and threw lotus flower petals, before handing over some food and basic necessities to the prison guards to give to the jailed women.
